Charles Hamilton's Fees

Recently I heard a rapper say in an interview that he dissed Mickey Factz because he was snobby and was charging to much for a track. So since he is classmates with Charles Hamilton I figured I'd give you an idea of how the freshman class of 09 is charging.

This is straight from Charles Hamilton's Blog

"So The Charles Hamilton Sound has been debated, hailed as brilliant, and discarded as inaudible. Depends on how deep you listen to music. Well... if you want that beautiful enigma to reflect in your music, its gonna cost ya! lol... here you go...

MIXING/ENGINEERING:
$200 a song
$1000 for 5 songs
$300 for mastering one song
$500 for mastering an EP (5-7 songs)
$1000 for mastering an album (8+ songs)

PRODUCTION:
$1500 per beat
$3000 to provide beats for entire project
$5000 to produce entire project (give direction, etc.)
$7500 to executive produce a project (give direction, provide beats for entire project, track-out and master final product)

STIPULATIONS:

I do not condone music that (a) degrades women, (b) promotes violence/drug sales (c) promotes ignorant/negative existentialism (eg. Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, etc.). I do not want my sound or resources to be tied to music that does not progress this generation. I don't care how much you're willing to offer. Also, no weapons allowed in the studio. I shouldn't have to say that, but through conversations with engineers throughout the years, I see that aggresive dialogue is the only way some people can get their point across. Not with that "movement", so "Take your shoes off at the door."

You can either bring me your ProTools sessions, or I'll come to a mutual studio. I don't even wanna fathom being stood up for a session...

I am an avid user of ProTools, and so is Woody (though he is incredible at Logic). For Woody's rates, visit woodysproduce.com."
