Drake Speaks on The Making of "Successful"

Drake speaks on the process behind the making of his breakout song "Successful." He talks about the making of it and how everything fell together and even explains some of the lyrics in his verses. Personally this is one of my favorite Drake songs.

Fabolous- Salute ft Lil Wayne

Heres yet another track from Loso incase you aint no so featuring Lil Wayne on the hook with on verse. Honestly this track is probably gonna get major play on the radio, the beats on point and the lyrics are dope. I think you'll definately enjoy the drumline style beat!

Fabolous- Salute ft Lil Wayne

Andre 3000- Lookin 4 Ya

This is officially a good summer for hip-hop, Jay-Z's seriously talking about releasing the Blueprint 3, Kanye is rapping again, and ANDRE 3000 IS RAPPING AGAIN! Now I'm sorry to say but if this doesnt excite you atleast a little bit then your not real hip-hop! But no more talking just listen to the track and enjoy the 2min and 1 second of real hip-hop!

Andre 3000- Lookin 4 Ya

Vado- Go Hard ft Cassidy

Heres a new track by Vado, Cam'ron's new Juelz haha, ft Philly's Finest Cassidy. And the songs pretty dope and Cassidy definately goes in!

Vado- Go Hard ft Cassidy

Twista- Alright ft. Kanye West

CHI-Town is definately in the building with this track! I'm a CHI-Town boy originally and this track is definately a step in the right direction for the city as a whole! The beat is on point (its a Kanye West production) and the lyrics are on point, its definately good to here Kanye rap for a change!

Twista- Alright ft Kanye West

Drake - Heartbreak Drake 2

Here's the new Drake mixtape which is a sequel to the first Heartbreak Drake mixtape. For all you that dont know this isnt an official Drake mixtape but really some DJs collection of songs but the songs are on point and he even has some new exclusives on here that no ones heard before!

Drake- Heartbreak Drake pt. 2

The Game- So Wavy (Jay-Z Diss)

Here is the long awaited traditional diss to an artist who has little no interest in beefing with The Game. Honestly The Game is getting out of hand with this beef stuff and personally I used to only tolerate this mess because the diss tracks were on point, but after this sorry excuse for a diss track I'm dissappointed. The track is okay but it wasn't clear the entire track who he was even rapping about and whether he was rapping about anyone specifically at all. This track seemed like if an kid with ADD found a kid on the playground he didn't like and made a diss track about him but got distracted while writing about it and just talked about everyone he had problems with. By the way the ad libbing at the end defending Chris Brown was whack, you get no love for it Game. But in all fairness he did have afew good one liners like this

"No one on the corner has swagga like you, cause no one on the corner is f***ing 42!"

Jeremih- Ima Star (Remix) ft Juelz Santana

Im not sure if you remember the track I posted earlier by this new guy Jeremih called "Everywhere We Are" well apparantly they changed the name and now its called "Ima Star" and Dipsets own Juelz Santana decided to hop on the track.

Freeway- Freeway's Beard

Here is a new track by Freeway called and off of his upcoming mixtape "Freelapse." On the track he samples a Freestyle that Eminem did where he mentions his beard. This is actually a pretty funny/dope track so check it out.

T.I. - Remember Me ft. Mary J. Blige

This is T.I.'s new video "Remember Me" ft Mary J. Blidge off of his upcoming album "Paper Trail: Case Close" thats supposed to drop soon. But this video shows why T.I. is one of the best in the industry right now. If you ask me, T.I. has always been good at making music that people can connect with emmotionally and this song is proof of that. Its dope enough where it can be on the radio and get major play on 106 & Park but it still has some substance and the lyrics are on point!

The Game Disses Jay-Z.....Again

I'm slowly loosing respect for Game more and more. I was a fan, I even supported him when he dissed 50 after their supposed beef was settled. Now he just seems desperate to gain attention and fight his way back into the public eye by dissing everyone bigger than him! It's almost sad, now im wondering if he's gonna diss Ne-Yo next!

Drake on Mixtape Mondays

Drake talks on things such as a follow up to So Far Gone and working with Pharrell on his debut album after he gets off tour

"“I just gotta get this tour knocked out,” he said earlier this week, smiling about going on the road as part of the America’s Most Wanted Music Festival, which will feature Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy Tell’em and Young Jeezy.

“I am working on [the album] right now. I’ve actually started. I was in the studio with Pharrell, and it’s basically a pretty lax process for us.

“Basically, So Far Gone worked,” he continued, talking about his strategy for the highly anticipated LP. “So, let’s just try to do it again. You know, let’s try and act as if we were making a second disc to So Far Gone. Picking up on things I feel So Far Gone missed out on. Taking away things that people liked but didn’t respond to as much as they did to Best I Ever Had, Uptown, or the joint with Lloyd [Successful]. There were specific things on that mixtape that I know unanimously people loved and certain things that people didn’t necessarily understand. So basically, I’m just trying to find the strongest points off So Far Gone and basing the album off that.”"

Bobby Ray on Mixtape Daily

He speaks on topics such as his name change and how it eventually turned into his new mixtape B.o.B. vs. Bobby Ray. Is it me or does every artist need to have some kind of internal beef going on between themselves? Oh well it made for good music and a solid mixtape that'll be up soon.

Bobby Ray- Put Me On (Music Video)

Here is Bobby Ray's (the artist formerly known as B.o.B.) spin on the classic Tribe Called Quest song "Bonita Applebaum." Bobby Ray teamed up with Reebok to help celebrate the Reebok Classic Remix collection. Personally I think that Bobby Ray is one of the most talented artists from the Freshman Class and honestly in the music business as a whole. I think if he sticks to his own idea of good music and the same innovative trippy concepts he can keep this music thing going for a minute!

Drake Speaks on Young Money Deal

..it’s almost impossible to go fully independent. This was basically like the closest thing I could get to my own independence, to sort of continuing to be that guy to the fans that, you know, is trying to prove something — trying to prove that it can be done. So with that being said, I signed directly to Cortez Bryant and Gee Roberson, my two managers, and their company Inspire. It’s a joint venture with Young Money, so that’s the deal. I know there’s been a lot of stuff on the Internet about different entities, but that’s the people involved in the main record deal. And then it’s distributed through Universal, so it’s great, man. You know, if we can sell some records I think it could be a pretty legendary situation.

I plan to work with Wayne for the rest of my career, so I think it’s a smart career move,” he added. “You know, everybody else [on Young Money] will hopefully work out the situations, get the right people on the album. I think it was important for me to show him that I believed in him as much as he believed in me. Because a lot of months he stuck his neck out there for me, you know with performing with Drake on the BET Awards Sunday, and then 'Ransom' and all the songs that we put out. And the things he would say in interviews, he really put himself out there for me. So I think it was only just and fair to show him that I feel the same way.
